Photon Factory was formed in July 2006, to supply specialized software, suited to subsea engineering applications, requiring high speed information deliverables. The first application was for the 3d mapping of platforms destroyed by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. These early applications then evolved into salvage planning, 3d tracking, safety monitoring, and project management interfaces.
